Welcome to our Blue Ridge Mountain retreat.
Black Bear Cabin is located about 15 miles from downtown Blue Ridge,
Georgia. The property is near the top of the mountain and
secluded. There are neighbors and other cabins on the mountain, but the
cabin has a buffer area from the road and is very private. The nearest
cabin is 1/4 of a mile. As our guest, you have 25 beautiful
wooded acres to enjoy and hike on with 2000 ft. on Weeks Creek and a
1/2 acre pond located directly below the cabin. You can sit on the
upper back porch and watch deer, turkey, and other wildlife drink from
the pond or one of the feeder creeks. There is a fire trail behind the pond that leads into the National forest. The back of the property backs up to the National forest.
The best times to see the wildlife
at the pond is usually early in the morning or before dark. It is not
unusual to see deer or turkey at any time during the day. The pond area
is also viewed from the lower deck from the hot tub. You can relax in
the 5 person hot tub and enjoy the peace and quiet, the sounds of the
Blue Ridge Mountains, and the wildlife. You will not find a more
relaxing and beautiful mountain setting anywhere. We have set our
rental rates at an affordable price. We want your repeat business. We
will do our best to make your vacation at our property something you will want to do over and over.
